What is DISC?

DiSC® is a personal assessment tool used by over 1 million people every year to improve work productivity, teamwork and communication.

DiSC is non-judgemental, and helps people discuss their behavioural differences. If you participate in a DiSC program, you’ll be asked to complete a series of questions that produce a detailed report about your personality and behaviour. The DiSC model provides a common language that people can use to better understand themselves and to adapt their behaviours with others. This can be within a work team, a sales relationship, a leadership position, or other relationships.

In leadership you can only motivate your staff if you first have the capacity first to understand yourself.

It is important to understand that DiSC is not a personality assessment, but rather an assessment of behaviour in given circumstances; for example, most people would say they do not behave the same at home and at work – but they are the same single personality.
